Making memories with our friends was worth the crowds, the biting flies, and the 30 degree temps in the wee hours. We swam in Sand Pond (pictured) and Packer Lake (not pictured), ate really well, and enjoyed the wildflowers in and around our campground. Escaping to the mountains is always worth the effort. I feel lucky and grateful to live where we do, and to call these humans our friends. Click here to see these girls a year ago in Tahoe.
