There are so many projects on our to-do list, it can be challenging prioritising where to focus our energy and resources. Earlier this week we started designing our kitchen renovation, and this morning we planted garlic and divided irises, irises that have likely been neglected for a couple decades. I took these photos a few days ago when Jeffery was in the middle of taking down an old, rotten, fence to open up our garden. It already looks different than it did then. He's also planning a new fence, creating a walkway, and preparing to plant more shrubs and a cover crop before the rain comes. We're almost ready to prime and paint our newly drywalled living room and then it will be time to buy and install crown molding and refinish the hardwood floors.
We can't do everything at once, but we can do a little every day, and come spring we will have made a lot of progress.
